Question Questions about supension mods

Hey, I recently got a 2003 TLS and I wanted better handling. I read a lot of threads about sway bars and struts bars and a little on springs.

I see that the two favorite brands for sway bars are Neuspeed and Comptech but the price difference is like $150, $300 for Comptech and $160 for Neuspeed. Which is better for its money? I know you get what you pay for so I assume that Comptechs are better but is it worth it?

What about springs? Should I invest in those first? I am new at this and any advice would be greatly apprecaited. Thanks a lot.

Welp, I didn't look at the products page (maybe I should have) but I think they actually cost the same. The Neuspeed bars are sold separately (149 or someting like that--each)...The Comptechs are for the pair...
Anyway, springs will give you better handling and lower your car somewhat, but the sways will absolutely change the handling dynamics of your car.
You could always drop $600 beans and get both!

I bought both but ended up putting the springs on only. The car will eat sidewalls with just springs, so I figured why bother...I'm beginning to change my mind and opt to slap the sways on, though!!!

if u want looks and some handling improvement, then the springs would be your best choice... it ends up being slightly over 300 for H&R springs including the install, comptech will run you higher

as for sways, neuspeed has discontinued the race sways so its either the regular one and the comptechs and of the two, id recommend the comptech

race though wud have given better handling

but sways will improve your handling the most

Here's the swaybar install instructions from the DIY/Info section.

http://www.acura-tl.com/faq/faq.php#9c

Installation is actually very easy and you should be able to do it within a couple of hours.

oh whoops, i never updated this...

i have a writeup on it along so maybe you want to check it out? use a combination wrench to get the endlinks off. you'll need a 14mm and just try to tug on it after you spray it with some WD40 and let it sit there for a while.

just make sure to apply the WD40 and wait 15minutes (just so you can give it some time to take off). its a pain in the ass with the endlinks, i can tell you that much
