Question on wheels

I am leaning towards H&R springs and was wondering what the best size wheel would be?
My buddy told me I should just get some OEMs from the 3rd gens but I want opinions before I commit and spend the money

OEM 3G TL wheels are fantastic if you don't want to go aftermarket. 17x8 +45, 235/45/17 tire, much better than the stock 2G 17x6.5 TL Type-S wheels. A spec wheels are good too, available as 18x8 or 18x8.5. At 8.5 and lowered, you would probably need to roll the fenders and cut the rear bumper tabs to be safe.

Car is dropped on Eibach Pro-Kit springs, front sits a little higher than the rear.

I was told 3G wheels stick out on our cars
Is that true? They don't look like they do from your pictures

They should stick out just a little bit.. since OEM is +55 offset vs +45 3G.
