Question Question for those who have raced.......

Who here knows what expensive car we can beat? I mean, for example, any BMw's, Lexus', or Mercedes or Audis. There reason I am asking is so that I don't embarrass myself on the highway. And I mean stock vs. stock. Thanks,

I think he was saying "...on the highway" not off the line, in which case 90% of the cars you mentioned will kick out TL's a$$ on the highway.

Our TL's are pretty bursty off the line, but once you're moving on the highway going like 70 or so, it brings out the best of the German cars. You should be able to take the 318, and probably the 1.8TT, but that's about it.

well just to let you know I got burned (REALLY BAD)by a 540i, so DONT race it cause it gets really good traction on the wet pavement and its pretty fast.

Cool

I totally Killed a GS300, wasn't even a close race, have yet to race an IS300, but heard it was also an easy win. Volvo S40 was also no problem for the TL.

I agree with the extensive list posted above. I've raced many of those cars above 70 mph and have done very well. Obviously, we were on the highway so driver skill and balls have a lot to do with it. Our handling is pretty front heavy, but with a deft touch, you can fry a lot of the cars mentioned in this post. I guess it has much to do with the driver.

I usually race Lexus ES. But most of the time, Toyota Camry instigates.

I don't bother racing anymore tho... I usually speed solo or follow the speeder. (uh ah, not racing... just goin with the flow.)
