Question for new owners

How long does it usually take for the dealership to turn the car over to me? What I mean is how long does it take them to get the car off the truck before they hand me the keys?

Usually, 2-4 days. But that depends on how busy they are.

I used to work for Lexus years ago and when they come in all they do is take the deal jackets to the sales manager, give them stock numbers-

Then, when service has taken care of all of the customers such as having your car in for service they pull them in and do a "Dealer Prep" all this consists of is checking linkege and going through a spot inspection that consists of a checklist that is real simple for the mechanic.

Then they pull it into the porters for washing and pulling off plastic protective coating.

Very simple- If the dealer says this is a timely task they are buying some time.

So, realistically that car can be delivered the day it comes off the truck. The mechanics get paid a 1/2 hour of time they can book for their weekly pay- so mechanics are willing since they usually have mouths to feed- Hope this helps

Mine took 2-3 days because I had the body kit and some other accessories put on. It still wasn't bad though.

3-4 hours

They could do it quickly, when I got my car they would'nt let me drive it since they didn't do the dealer prep. When they clean it up while I was doing the paperwork. They can accommodate if they are willing to make the sale.

Usually Uz can get the car the same day. When I picked my car, it was fresh off the truck. The only reason I didn't get it that day was becuz it was a Sat after 4pm & the service dept. was not there to get the car inspected.
