Question about wiring fogs

Is it possible that aftermarket fogs can be wired to go off automatically when our high beams come on? The reason I am asking is because in Virginia, and it could be other states, but it is law when your high beams come on, the fogs have to go off automatically. And no, I don't mean turning them off when you have to use your high beams. Can shops handle this request?

Thanks!

Yes, you have to re-wire it though. Buy Accord wire harness and it will work as OEM. (turns on with LOW BEAM and turns off with HIGH BEAM)

Heheh... don't high beam with fogs on when a cop is around. Seriously, I doubt you'll get pulled over for flashing high beams with fogs on.

But if you're worried about it, get the accord harness. If you don't, you can probably get some sort of signal inverter and take the high beam signal and invert it into your parking light signal. Ok, I'm no EE and I don't have helm manual. But I'm sure it should be pretty simple to figure out.

You see what happened was that I failed virginia inspection because the fogs stayed on when the high beams were turned on. So they(Acura dealer) had to take them off which I really did not care because I was going to get new fogs anyway. So, just a heads up for my peeps in VA!

Wow! That sux... first they rip you off by making thousands off you.. Then they rip you off by making you pay extra for scheduled service. Now they add insult to injury by being that picky. I had my "inspection" go by with flying colors at my dealer (Pohanka Acura). I had them bundle it in with my 15K service. I don't think they really checked the fog/hi-beam combo, though.
