Question about grease in my rim

Was washing my '03 Type-S this morning and noticed that my rear passenger tire on the inside of the rim is caked with grease. All other rims are clean. Do you think my wheel bearing leaked or something? Has anyone else had this problem?

It could very well be a bearing seal leaking out. Since it's only one wheel doing that would be my guess. If all the wheels did it I would ask if you had a ton of tire dressing on it.

I agree with Tom.. since it's only one wheel displaying this problem the odds are a bearing seal leaked.

Oh and by the way... with a screen name like Dirk Diggler, I'd be careful how you word topics about grease and rims

hehe

Hahahahahaha, that's funny. On my next oil change I'll have them do a full rim examination and re-packing of the bearing, followed by a new tight seal!
