What words, letters, or symbols should be on the original Acura factory floormat sets? I need to order a set (black) for my car.

Are they supposed to have "Type S" on them? Maybe in red?
or, are they supposed to have "TL" or "Acura" on them?
or, the "A" symbol?

Please explain what the correct set looks like.

I could swear I somewhere saw some floormats that had a large "Type S" logo on them, but I guess I was dreaming and it actually said 3.2 TL...maybe the "3.2 TL" was in large letters??

It would be great to be able to get a black set with a large, red, "Type S" symbol on them (like the symbol on the shift knob)

The 99-01 TL's have ACURA stitched on them, the 02-03 have 3.2TL stitched on them, the sizes are the exact same just different logo's. I prefer the Acura one's better than the 3.2TL

Hey Alan, the ones that aree in my car that i showed you at your house that day are the factory mats for 02. they just say acura on them. Hows it goin man? Did you get new tires yet?

Yeah, got the new tires-the new Goodyear Eagle GT VR all-seasons. They are awesome and have great grip wet or dry, no bad issues I've discovered yet.
Took a fairly high speed run around Lake Maumelle and hit the rollers on Hwy 300 up at Little Italy Also drove around outside the city on the ice/slush/snow we had-very pleased.

On the floormats, going by the part numbers on the 2 internet part sites, the 2000 thru 2002 models appear to have the same part # for all the models, both TL-P & TL-S. When I punch in the 2003 model year, I get a different part # for the floormats on both the 03 TL-P & TL-S.

I'm guessing the 99 thru 2002 model floormats have "Acura" on them, and the 03 modles have "3.2 TL" on them. But that doesn't seem to fit every case.
I would rather get the ones that "Acura" instead of the "3.2 TL".

Just for the record-
I ordered a set of Acura OEM floormats from Acura Carland (acuraautomotiveparts.org). I have an 02 TL-S with black interior.
I ordered part number 83600-S0K-A00ZB, which is what their website calls for all 00 thru 02 model TLs with black interior.

The floormat set I received had "ACURA" stitched on the front two mats it in 1" tall letters.
The 03 models have a diiferent part number, so I suspect those have "3.2 TL" on them.

And, what a very nice set of floormats they are!!! They really, really fit the spaces very well, better than any other set of mats I've ever noticed.
They are worth the extra coin over buying an aftermarket set from a parts place.
