a question about electric problem

Hi guys I have a question about electric problem that I had 2 month ago.

And yes, I did search but I couldn’t find right answer so I did search on Google but didn’t have a luck.

Anyway, about 2 month ago I drove to CVS(about 5 mils from my place) in rainy day.
My car is 2000 TL.

While I drove, I saw CEL on and off( less than a second ) and car drove as normal and when I went over a bump, CEL on and off and this was also less than a second but drove normal as well and I parked.
When I park before turn off, radio sounds kind of weak and lost signal like noise but I turned off car.
After 30 sec. turn off the car, I turned key to position 1(radio on) but no radio and it showed ‘CODE input’ so I thought it had been battery disconnected.
And I turned key to start but all light become very weak and no crank. like no battery.
but little buzzz noise from under rear seat.
I put out key and did again but was same. and I took out the key and had moment to think what I should do in rainy day.

After 2 min. I tried again and it turn on and I could drive back.
After that happen, I check all battery cables and connect but was clean and tide up well.
And never happen again.

What do you guy think?
Any input is welcome and Thank you in advance.

I haven't tested the battery but it runs very good now.
Anyway, I'll check it soon.
Thank you.

Sounds like a loose batt. or ground connection somewhere.

today!!!!!--go to a parts store and ask for a battery and charging system test--its free!!
a battery is lucky to last 3-4 years these days
If thats the problem you are screwing up other things by running on low voltage

if you live anywhere but Ca. ask the local name brand parts store for a `code reading` too- its free!!
the CEL light should have stored a code

the other possible is the back part of the ignition switch gets dirty or worn out
99s had a recall to replace it once,,00 could easily have the same part
wiggle the key while running, does turning the wheel while driving make it happen...

fairly easy as shown in our diy section- 50 bucks for the new part at acura or parts store

short trip in the rain= wipers and headlights on--lot of power being used...

5 minute trips are the worst on the car--takes 15 minutes just to get the battery back to full after sitting and starting the car,,then the loads you are drawing from it cant be replaced fast enough by the alternator--as you drive at low rpm and stoplights/idle thru town in those few miles

Thank you guys.

Yes, it was the battery and terminal.
I went Autozone and when they test, the guy told me battery is almost gone,...and so as terminal( it was old and couldn't tight up ).

Anyway, after I replace everything, man, it sounds so much better when it start.

Thank you again guys.

new batteries off the shelf are not fully charged
drive around 45 minutes with minimal extra load from headlights ac etc
and it will be set

then have the system retested to be sure all is well

Just put a floating charger on it for a while. Gas is too high for charging batteries...
