question about brembo blanks?

I have them and so far they've lasted way longer than the lousy stock ones did. Naturally you'll need to change out your pads at the same time. I went with Hawk Performance pads. Total price with shipping through tirerack.com was $208 for the front rotors/pads set.

I called tirerack about it and they said many people have complained about the lack of shims. They said Hawk is considering the matter--- but obviously doing squat about it. Frankly, even though they have been real good pads, I wont be able to use them on the fronts next go 'round because I will have no choice by then to buy a brand that comes with shims, since I am sure my front shims will be beat down by the next change out.
Oh and one more thing that bugs me - by comparision, the Raybestos top of the line red pads come not only with 4 new shims, but also the little packets of molybdium antisqueal compound too. all for about $55 a set.
Did them on a friend's 98 Accord, but they are unavailable for the TL. I tried to buy molybdium antisqueal but couldnt find it at any auto parts store, and the Acura parts counter doesnt sell it separately (but fortunately for me the guy was cool and just took a packet out of the box of pads and gave it to me at no charge.) Not sure what they'll do when they go to mount those pads on someones car, but thats for their techs to figure out.
