Question about Borla on a TL

Wll it be better for me to get the Comptech system or two borla mufflers. My friend has an accord and he bought two mufflers, he has no intake or anhthing just the mufflers and i swear his car sounds like a mini stang and it rumbles while idling. The best part is that you can really feel the power at WOT. Is it worth it for me. I dont care about loosing the luxury one bit. my ca is too quiet. M3's sound hot adn there is something classy and exotic of them. Why not have a great classy looking TL, with the rumble to back up the looks?

Borla has several different models that will produce different exhaust tone. I used to have Borla in my old Teg and it was pretty loud. If you like loud, go for it. Or, you could just get the Greddy exhaust or remove the resonator in your B-pipe if all you want is loud. As for the power difference, it will be pretty similar.

I had a greddy on my accord. I like the Greddy exhaust, 'throatier', sounds like a Harley, I have stock exhaust now. Greddy exhaust is just too 'rice-boy'. Remember you have an Acura, not a Civic

i was thinking about maybe getting an exhaust cause i just got my intake but i would like maybe a little louder sound. but, exhaust is too loud i think. is there an exhaust that gives it a louder sound, but does not make the car shake?

AcuraTL, how easy to remove resonator from B pipe? I guess you can remove 1 and listen, if not loud enough remove both. Will it give the car the shakes when removed?

I would think twice about the exhaust... I have it the comptech exhaust on my car. but I think if I were to do it again which I will in a year with the tl-s I would pass on the exhaust. No real performance gain. It just adds to the overall look of the car.

Save your money for the headers or the new comptech supercharger.

It isn't really a bolt-on/off thing. To remove it, you'll either have to replace the whole B-pipe or have a muffler shop cut out the resonator in the B-pipe.
