Question about blacking headlight housings

This isnt something i could find in a search...I am blacking out my housings and would like to get some opinions on whether not to take the amber piece out of the turn signal? I have seen some good pics but just wanted some input on whether or not to take it or leave it...pics are welcome and appreciated..thanks

I say yea for your NBP. There are certain colors that look good cleared all the way..and there are those that don't..but NBP is definetly one of the nice looking ones with cleared all the way Good luck

thanks man...the lens would be clear with the turn signal housing totally black so it should look good without the amber piece

What paint products are you using to black out the headlights? I want to do that to a spare set that i have, but I dont know what products to use. Do I need to sand down the chrome piece too?

you should do what i did with my SSM TL-S, black housings BUT i left the side corner signal chromed like the a-spec, leave the amber tab on, looks clean. if u want it darker just paint the inside housing of where the amber is.

CAUTION, if u want to do what i did and left the corner chromed, tape just the side edges a llittle as possible, the chrome will rip right off sinces its very delicate.

You can do it yourself, its easy. Take the orange reflector out. it will look much cleaner imo.
