Brought my tl type s to nalley in marietta for warped rotors, they ground them under warranty. So far so good. I commented on several hard shifts I have noticed lately guess what they are going to replace the tranny. 15k and a bad tranny and warped rotors. double my defect pleasure.

Should get the new tranny in next week. But wow, this is unreal for a pricey auto. I can say the service at Nalley was good. Cant say the same for the car. And Freddy Mercury sings ... another one bites the dust

 

If you just use the word 'tranny' when you enter an Acura Service dept, they are pulling you in and swapping it out. They must have warehouses full of 'em. When mine went 2 years ago, I had to wait 3 weeks.

 

What is your build date?

 

Where do I find the build date. I took delivery last april, late in the month.
I think somewhere last year I noticed the tag and the build date was in january of 03? I will validate
My Vehicle ID number is beyond the numbers that have been given on these forums for questionable trannys.

 

i love how down south and out midwest where there aren't as many cars the dealers change their trannies with the slightest problem. I had to wait until my car could no longer move tranny was smoking and all the gauges were lit before they would "inspect" my car to see if the tranny was bad.
