This is genius. I could wire it to the dome lights, and also to a switch. Well, if I'm wiring these to the dome lights, I might as well do the LED door handle mod

wouldn't that be too much for the fuse? or maybe even the harness?

For how much 2 Leds draw? Hell no. You could probably add 100 of them befoe it was an issue.

Sorry, not much of an electrician. I read about doing the door handle mod and how the op fried his 7.5 amp fuse and wasn't sure why. Nice to know that we can wire so much thru the dome light.

Like fsttyms said, I could run LED demon eyes, door handle LEDs, LED puddle lights, and a handful of other LEDs on that 7.5 amp fuse and be good! They draw so little power, that it would seriously take more than I know what to do with to blow that fuse!

Holy shit fsttyms, I didn't see those Youtube videos before, but making the LED strips sequential would be beyond sick.

Ahhh t0ny3, your TL was the only other one I had seen with demon eyes. That speaks volumes because yours was enough inspiration for me to go ahead with it!

My set up is basically that same (same shroud and blacked out headlights as well) except with an EvoX-R in the high beam spot!

Really? That means alot to me lol, i didnt see anyone else with it so i said to hell with it ima do it since i was retrofitting anyways.

I honestly dont think the 2nd gen can pull off a quad projector setup but i see you're doing it for mostly performance which is smart. *one for width and one for distance*

If anything i suggest moving the evo projector closer to the inner headlight so it fills in the highbeam circle better, kinda looks funky with an oval look.

Yeah! Back when I was searching the 2G TL side of the forum for demon eyes, yours was the only one that came up!

That oval looking piece is going to be dremelled out, so it will look better rounded than with the oval hi-beam piece in

I've been trying not to say anything, other than congrats to cincinattl, because I felt like I'd be threadjacking, but I'd also like to give props/credit where credit is due.

I am the current owner of your demon eye projectors, Tony, and I have loved them since I installed them. I had no idea how I would hook up the Demon Eyes, but thanks to JJashaa, and this thread, I now know what to do !

Anyway, to cincinattl, your work looks good. Keep it up! Just another reason why I love this forum!

I already dremelled most of it out, I just need to remove and smooth out what is in red. I think it'll look much better than if I kept the high-beam oval looking shit.

No amount of planning in the world could really help. It all comes down to trial and error and playing around with it yourself!

Silly question... but are the fx-r 3.0's and the evox-r's bi-xenons? If so youre just running both on lowbeams and when you engage the high beams they both turn to the high beams?

i thought you said, you were familiar and have been to theretrofitsource.com????

it has descriptions ON EVERYTHING!!!!!!!
bi-xenons work off of one bulb.
there is a solenoid on the projector. when you activate the high beams by the steering wheel stalk, the solenoid opens or moves away, letting more LIGHT out.

you can youtube this shit as well. it will explain to you better.
no one wants to hold your hand!! its best to learn from theretrofitsource.com and youtube.

Yes, both projectors are bixenons, and will both become high beams when the high beams are engaged.

Since the weather here in the Nasty Nati has been shitty, I haven't been able to sit outside for hours and finish sealing/aiming the headlights. In my down time I decided to take on yet another lighting project. The idea of having 4 projectors just wasn't good enough for me, so I decided, what is just two more to the mix? I decided to retro my fogs!

Finally got them almost done, and I think it's gonna look pretty damn good! The blacked out theme will look pretty good with my blacked out headlights and grille! Wasn't all that difficult to do either! I just need to seal the back of the light up (right now its held there by blue painter's tape, as you can see) and put the new Lexan glass in!

Output on these suckers is pretty impressive too! Just debating whether to put color matched 5000K bulbs in them or a 3000K bulb!

I am getting pretty good at these lighting projects, if I do say so myself

Question.. would I run into problems if I used all projectors of the same type? For example you used the fx-r and the evox-r.. if I just used two rx350 jectors would I be fine? Just wondering what made you decide to use two different jectors.

Don't use 4 of the same projector; that would just accentuate the flaws in the projected (not wide enough, poor cutoff, not far enough, etc) Use 2 projectors for length, and 2 for width. My FX-Rs are for length, and my EvoX-Rs are for width, they will compliment eachother rather than work against one another.

I highly suggest going to www.hidplanet.com because there is countless information on that kind of stuff. I got most of my info from guys (and gals) on there.

Sold the headlights for $750 to a guy in my town that saw them while I was at a gas station. Had no intentions of getting rid of them, but money talks! I literally just finished them in July, and got to enjoy them for a month! I wish I would have gotten output and general pics. I told the guy to sign up on Azine and show em off!!

Now, I am onto something bigger and better for our TL headlights

I am about to snag a set of the 2014 MDX Jewel Eye LEDs from TRS; they have a handful of sets in. A guy on HIDplanet took the dimensions, and it's almost like they were meant to be retro'd into our housings

A 3G TL has them already, but I am gonna be first to do it on the 2G TL
