Purolator "Pure One" Oil Filters

Are these any good for our cars?

yes. Mobil 1 filters are good too.

I am using them with mobil 1 extended mileage motor oil and am changing the oil and filter together every 10,000 miles with no problems.

Blade, I went to Walmart and they only had the small bottles of the extended mileage. Where do you usually get yours at?

Yea, the PURE ONE is a great filter, atleast thats what i think. Ive used it for several oil changes but jus recently advanced auto parts started selling mobil 1 filters which ive always wanted since i use mobil 1 oil so now im using the mobil 1 filter.

i have the blue OEM honda filters (spring loaded) that i was selling and would be willing to sell again... one for $5 or five for $20 plus shipping.

huh, my cousin (more like close family friend, may be related) owns a shop. so i just go there give him 20 bucks and he changes the oil for me, and he changes the filter everytime. i just found out yesterday that most people change their filters every 2nd oil change or maybe more. is there any detrimental effects to me changin it so early?

Its a great filter, at a decent price. IF they are on sale, they're a steal. If you can, stock up. I used to have trouble finding them sometimes.

They were on sale last week @ at Bi-Mart for 20% off.

How much did they come out for. I jsut got a huge order of Napa Gold filters from Fleetfilter.com.

I just use OEM filters. After owning 7 Acuras and having drivin over a million miles they never let me down.

MOBIL 1 EP is great stuff.
