From what I understand, the damage (if any) would occur over the course of 4 to 5 years .. minimum. People presume that you'll be rid of the car by then, so it's no problem to install the crank pulley and reap the gains now. I don't think there is any damage to worry about w/ the accessory and power steering pullies. Go to www.acura-cl.com and search under "pulley" or "pullies" to get some very well-written, in-depth informative posts on this very topic.

ive had them on some of my other hondas and 1 of them i used to race and the engine was still running (till i smacked a tire barer at 120) and the other one was still runnind at 210k when i hit a deer totaling the car out. i wouldnt worry about the pullies doing any thing to the engine. INSTALL THEM!

Yeah...It has to do with balancing issues and is supposed to be long term in nature. Theoretically it would also be more succept to occur with a lot of highway driving...

Anyway, I've got the crank and has been fine. I didn't get the others as my shop simply said they really would have no benefit and there may be load issues with the alternater...
