Problems with my brake lights. helllllpppp
This started the other day. My friend told me that the back right brake light is out. So i thought it could be the bulb or something. Then the next day, the left side went out too. So i took a look at it and i noticed that the bulbs are fine. Then i took a look at the fuse and they were fine. (I think it was that fuse) I replaced the bulbs with my old bulbs and they were still fine. What do you guys think could be wrong here? I already called the Acura dealer and they told me to take it in monday. Even though theyre racist, ignorant jerks! On monday when i go, do i need to take out my 02 tailights and put the old ones back on?
Thanks
Thanks

When i take it back to the dealer, do i need to take out the 02 tailights and the sockets and put the original back in?
Thanks

I might of have a bad connection in the bulb socket because when i put a differenct bulb in, it still does the same thing.

Remember that there are two filaments in each brake light bulb. One filament glows when you turn on your lights, and the other one glows when you step on the brakes.
Is your high-mounted brake light working fine? If it is, then it's not your fuse.

When you replace 02 tail, did you relace wire harness, too? What do you mean by different bulb. I think it's better to put the stock back on if you want to get cover under warranty. Good Luck!

I have the same problem! First one tail light as out. But only when my lights wee on, it still works when I step on the brake. Then 2 were out, then 3! So just one filament in each is out. I wonder if it'll hapen again when I replace them.

What do you mean when you said my high-mounted brake light working fine? When i have my lights on and press the alarm, it lights up and when i step on the brake, my spoiler light lights up. Is that what you kinda mean?

I noticed today instead of 3 bulbs being out, 2 were. One came back on!! :wow: Maybe a filament bouncing around, probably if I replace it'll be ok. I'm pretty sure my spoiler light works just fine. My brakes are all fine when stepped on.

Yes. If your high-mounted (spoiler) brake lights come on when you press on the brake pedal, then your brake pedal switch and fuse are OK. I think it's time to replace those bulbs in your tail lights.

I did replace my bulbs in the taillights and it still does the same thing. By the way, which bulb is it, is the the right one or the left one at the bottom?
