Problems After Rewiring The Fog Lamps???

Does anybody have any problems after they rewire their fog lamps the original way (simply connecting two different wires)? If so, how much damage did it produce. I want to rewire my fogs but dont want any secondary effects.

I have had this mod for 2 years and have faced no problems since I installed it. It took 15 minutes and I have never dealt with cutting wires before. Just follow the instructions on the FAQ on this site. One TL owner chased me down in the city and got me to stop and roll down the window to ask me how I had my fogs on without the headlights

Only problem ppl have is that they leave their fogs switch on and then active their alarm which makes the fogs flash with the parking light. This reduces the life of the bulbs, thats all.

But how did you guys connect the two cables? By simply intertwine them or using another method? I simply intertwined them so I dunno if this method is reliable on the long run.

So should I assume that the fog lamp mod with just putting those two cables together physically (by intertwining them) is totally safe and reliable?

But how did you guys connect the two cables?

Mine are sodered together, then covered w/ electrical tape. No worries.
I do like that look from other TL owners when they see I have my fogs on without my headlights.
