Problem w/fuel gauge

My fuel gauge seems to be underreporting the amount of gas I have left. I always reset my Trip A and generally use that as a guide for my next pit stop, but I also glance at the fuel gauge, and it doesn't seem to want to start at full after filling the tank, and well before I am half empty, it is already below the half empty mark. Anyone else have this problem, and is there a cure? Thanks.

Cure: Take it to the dealer and have them replace the fuel sending unit. There is a service bulletin about it. No charge.

And the runaround begins.

I called to set up an appointment, and because I am no longer under warranty, they say I will have to foot the bill for the repair, which is going to be over $200. Needless to say, I am NOT happy. I may just do without and use my Trip A to gauge fuel status.

Yeah, I have the same issue... and I bet Acura would want to charge me, but I didn't have the car when it was under warranty, and thus I didn't have the chance to get it fixed for free.... the fuel thing is rather annoying, and needs to be fixed.
