I have a problem with starting (ignition) with my 99 TL. If I just start the car(without waiting for all the lights to be tested etc).....its starts normal......but if I turn it to the on position (w/o acutally starting the engine but all the electrical stuff works), then I let all the lights turn off, then I start the car, the engine sputters and acts like i doesn't want to start before it actually starts. Maybe I'm being paranoid after reading all the horror stores about failed transmission.

 

There was a recall on at least some of the 99's for an ignition switch issue. Maybe yours is one of them.

 

I had my ignition switched replaced already at the local acura dealer.

 

If you are still under warranty then get it check. If not then just start the car without waiting for all the lights to be tested since you got the ignition switch replaced already.

BTW, how many miles do you have?
