Problem with Cold Air Intake

hey everyone,
so i finally got around to installing my "nobrand you get what you pay for off ebay" cold air intake which didn't come with all the parts that i needed but anywayz the problem now is that i have the 2 hoses which used to run the coolant/heating thru the stock air box but now are just there.... so my question is what am i suppose to do with those 2 ends?!?

thanx!

oh yea i have a 99

get rid of that crappy intake and buy a real one...those hoses most likley need forced air (or at least filtered air) so they can;t just be chilling loose in the engine compartment

well this car is a lease which i'm planning to give back when it ends and if i end up gettin 2003 type-s (which i really want) then i'll get quality product till then i gotta make this work (since today my "check engine" light came on, yet yesterday it was fine)
- so anywayz i have the air hoses all hooked up, but these 2 have coolant running thru them.. i definately know i can't keep them just closed at each end, so my question is do i have to just get a new long hose and plug from 1 end to another of the 2 short ones, or what?!?

Get rid of one hose, and plug the connected hose directly into where the other hose used to go.
