Preventing corrosion on TEINs

What do you guys think about spraying this stuff on my TEINs for this winter.? I'm worried about corrosion, but don't want something that attracts a lot of dirt/sand...

""Mariner's Choice Dry Teflon Spray
Dry Teflon spray goes on wet and dries to a clear, long-lasting, lubricating film with superior resistance to water, including saltwater. Prevents corrosion and ensures minimum wear and smooth operation of sail slides, zippers, hatches, hinges-- hundreds of uses. Will not stain sails or other fabrics. 12-oz. spray.""

ANy other ideas????
