Prep for touchup....

stupid curb. I was pulling into downward sloped parking space(that should explain it all), wound up a little crooked so I decided to back up and straiten out. Put it in reverse but it rolled forward a little INTO A TALL CURB. I was like damnnnn. So the bottom right, left, and center of my front bumper basically has paint all scraped off of it.

so anywayz.... I have a thing of touchup paint and I wanted to know from you guys what is the best way to prep the buttom of my bumper.....

sand it with a lightgrade sand paper then apply the paint?

holla back

Depending on how well you touched it up, you might want to sand again to smooth out.

yes build it up so that its even or higher than the original paint, then wet sand with 2000 grit and buff to a shine

Acura's touch up paint is, but it's crap. I've been using the paint from www.towerpaint. It definitely makes a difference. It's a base and a clear.

The bottles of Acura touch up paint does not have clear coat.

Acura touch of PENS (same thing, but looks like a two-sided marker instead of a bottle of nailpolish) includes clearcoat.
