Angry Powersteering When cold.

So I flew back from miami yesterday, into NC, where my 03 tl has been sitting for a week in the cold parking lot, start the car, and it makes a quiet whirling noise. I start driving and the power steering is not working im like WTF??? i stopped, got out, lifted the hood to see what the hell is going on, and everything (fluid levels) was ok. There was some power steering fluid on the hoses for some reason. I let the car warm up, started it again, turned the wheel, and it made an awful screeching sound, but it went away pretty fast, and now its fine. Does anyone have any idea on what the hell could have gone wrong. car's got about 60k miles on it.

Also, why are we not getting a recall on the heated seats? bottom of my driver seat, and the passenger seat aren't working. So many people had this problem, and Acura still wont take care of it??? Done rambling for now...

Well first, you have to find if you have a leak. The hoses/resevoir should be dry. Next check the level. If the fluid has never been changed a flush is in order. You can do this yourself or have the dealer do it. I think there is a DIY on here but I'm not sure. Do a search for it.

It's somewhat normal for the steering to be stiff, or a LITTLE noisy when very cold, but once it warms up all should be fine. I would do some inspecting if I were you.
