Powerslot Rotors

Yes it's late x-mas eve and I'm on A-zine cos I'm bored and don't have to be anywhere until 1pm tomorrow. Don't know where this belongs, but does anyone have experience with powerslot rotors or powerslot cyro rotors?

Yes, I bought powerslot front rotors about 1 1/2 yrs ago. I like them and they do not show rust due to their treatemnt (I did not get the cryo) but they have warped. I admit I had several emergency stops from high speeds (a lot of deer in the area) They did not warp as easy or as bad as OEM Honda rotors. I would probably buy again.

So since they warped, it would probably be better to get the cyro treated rotors I suppose. Anyone on here running them. Currently I have brembo blanks in the rear, OE on the front and satisfied pro ceramic pads. I'm looking to upgrade the front rotor/pad combo and then do some actual engine and suspension work for the spring. Next year my car will see more mods.

I have the Power Slot slotted rotors and Hawks ceramic pads installed last week. Had them bedded in today. So far the stops seem shorter. Will know in another 150 - 250 miles. Driving them normally until then.

If you're looking for another option check out ROTORA or STOPTECH.

Sounds like you didn't break them in properly. That's what happened to my Brembo blanks on my accord wagon. The guy who put them ran my car hard on the way to drop the car off to me and messed them up. I know it was him because I drove on them easy for the first 200 or so miles then about another 500 miles they started wobbling.....it was then that I figured he did this. And not to hi-jack the thread, NO..I can't find him to this day.

Here is a good brake bedding procedure- and reasons why and what you are doing
It takes more than 1 hot session to get them right.
Brakes that warped due to panic stops often have nothing more wrong than pad glaze, and some hardcore brake pad bedding will usually clean the pads and re-establish the transfer layer of material.
Got the squeels coming to a stop- may be poorly bedded pads
