Power, Turns over, no start.

Power, Turns over, no start.
As a pre-emptive strike, I'm posting this question. Just in case re soldering the main relay does not fix the issue and i get stuck somewhere, i can check answers from my cell phone.
What are other common, and/or likely causes?
Car didn't want to start yesterday at work, finally got it going by keeping cycling the ignition.
ran fine for a while.... did it again taking my wife to work this morning. (that freaked her out)
Anyway, suggestions appreciated. I'm off to (most likley) burn myself with my soldering iron.

Hey BetterBob, the '99 model TL's are notorious for having ignition switch problems.
Has your car ever had it's switch replaced recently ? Years ago, the switches were replaced under recall.....but still failed in time. The main relay is also an issue, but not quite as common. If in doubt and ya don't want the dear wifey freaking out again....consider replacing the switch and possibly the relay if the situation continues.
