Power Steering Pump

I have a pretty good idea that my power steering pump is on it's way out. I hear a noise coming from that side of the engine when I and turning and accelerate at the same time and I just replaced my idler pulley. My question is there are 2 different listings of the P/S pump on the website and I don't know which one I need. One of them says RMD, I'm not sure what that means. Does anyone else know?

Do you think it's worth it? I've got 107K on my car (kinda surprised my P/S pump is going already) and wanna the next one to last a while.

Mine was still good at over 200 when i over tightened the belt from the swap and fried the bearings. There have been a few members that have had them go. either is good

^^Thanks Derrick. I might actually have mis diagnosed this one. I was looking around today and started actually trying to figure out what the noise was. I heard it at idle so I figured it wasn't the P/S pump. Turned out to be the heat shield around the catalytic converter. One of the bolts came out so I put a new one in and put some lock washers on. I should be good now. Thanks the info though guys.

my pwr steering pump is bad.

my car is stored for winter and the other day i went to check on it, let it run a bit, etc.. and just like last year, the pump started making a hissing noise and then power steering fluid started to come out of the tank. If i let the car run for a while the noise slowly goes away.

i checked with AllData. there is a recall for bad lubrication of the pump's bearing... i hope mine can be fixed. i dont wanna have to replace the whole friggin' thing.
