Power steering leaking
Power steering leaking
Driving home i noticed threw the air vents a burning oil smell.went to investigate and looks like the power steering is leaking i have not jacked up the car to look from where yet.
What do you think of or know about the stop leak power steering fluids yay nay. ??? I searched no luck any common areas from where in the TL.
actually i had the same problem.... it was acctually a little rubber ring that was worn out near the belt on the left side of the engine.. its a metal T looking thing with two bolts thats right in front of u near the res as well... check it out.. it was a free fix for me =).

maybe i over looked something soon as i get off work ill look again.
Need to inspect everything closely. Its leaking somewhere. Id check the above o-ring, and the rubber hoses. they are the first and most likely to leak. Also check where the lines attach to the trans for the speed sensitive steering. They are rubber as well and just small hose clamps on
check for leaks at the high pressure fitting of the pump, the lines out of the resovoir, the 2 lines for the speed variable steering, and of course the rack, ive done a few tl racks in my day.
