Anybody had similar issues? This happened once about a year ago for a day or two and then disappeared????

'99 non-navi. Fob will not lock or unlock car (before you ask, yes, I did change batteries and used my second fob with no luck). When fob is hit for either lock or unlock, sound from inside the driver's door itself like a solenoid or relay buzzing, but nothing happens. Fob however does appear to be arming and disarming alarm, if the little red LED on the door is any true indicator.

If fob is used to unlock, no other doors unlock on the second hit of unlock.

Inside driver's lock switch will open all locks so long as driver's is unlocked; if driver's is locked, na-da on the others. This occurs if the engine/accessory is on or off - doesn't seem to affect it.

To me, it seems that the other doors are slaved to the actions of the driver's door, as evidenced by a manual locking using the knob (not switch) and the resultant locking of all 4 doors.

Problem is, I think something is toasted with the driver's door. Anybody else had any similar experiences, and, if so, what was the problem and $ to fix?

I have the exact same issue. I see that this is several years old. Did you ever get this fixed? Can you please let me know what it is?
