I put an safc neo on it to save on gas so i have to go back on the dyno so i can see my air/fuel ratio so i can tune the high trottle. P2R told me to wait until i install the intake n headers because i would have to get it retune. The shop did a 98 v6 accord n stock it made 172 after intake n full exhaust w a vafc the car put out 199 whp w 220 pound feet of torque. thats motivation for everyone else to do it.

I recall seeing an A/F plot of a TL-S dyno once and it was pretty much completely flat. A bit of a spike near 4950 RPM, otherwise though very flat, i.e. Acura got it right and there isn't much to tune. I don't recall if it was a stock car or if it had and bolt ons... someone feel like searching??

What kind of gas mileage are you getting with the vafc and compared to w/o it?

Here is my last dyno sheet. I am posting blindly here because work blocks photobucket, so I can't tell if this post will actually show the picture or not, but here goes.

Mods: I/H/E/P
I may be going again this weekend. I got my headers coated and want to see if it makes much of a difference.

Yeah, it would be cool to break 240 but I don't think I wanna spend the money on a VAFC right now. Maybe sometime down the road. I would like to get RJ Inspyres first.

^hmmmm Rims or more Horsies.......I think Ill take the horsies, plus you might need that from the added weight of those rims.

Yeah, they're right around the same weight as stock. Not much difference. And I don't do chrome, so I won't have that added weight. I've contemplated a while on where I should go next with my mods, but I've done just about every bolt on except TB spacers. I don't know that I would spend the money on a VAFC and the tuning for the HP gain. I would really love to increase my torque though. Anyone got any ideas.

I wouldn't mind adding a SC to my list of mods, but I would rather buy a house at this point. I'll have a hard enough time talking my girl into rims. Not that she'll tell me no, but I know she won't be happy about it.

Nice run. I would have expected your TQ to be higher though with your 3.2L being 217 Crank TQ. Stock in my 03 AV6 Auto I put down 176.4WTQ@5000RPM. My dyno starts at 3800rpm and is at 170TQ and rises to 176 between 5000-5600rpm then slowly falls.

i was expecting more too put not that didnt suprised me my car has 160k+ miles on it w no bolt ons not even a intake. But when i dynoed the car had 87 in there thanks to lendin my car out to a friend so my comp might have retarded the timing for this run so no way to really tell untill i go back on the dyno.

don't expect much better #s. Thats not that far off the stock specs. 225 hp 216 tq. Factor in aprox +- 20% drive train loss these cars and your right at the stock specs.

Just got back from another dyno run. I'll post the sheet soon but my max HP was 241.8. I'll have to take a look at it again and see what my TQ looked like. I guess I'm happy with that though. It was a rough day at the dyno though. A guy with a 99 Mustang, drag strip ready, had a nitrous explosion. Needless to say, he wasn't so happy. He was expecting about 650 HP. Instead all he got was a loud bang and some flames. I was the only import today, all mustangs and corvettes. Suprisngly, my car got quite a bit of attention. A lot of people were surprised that I even pulled 200 HP, but they really didn't seem to know much about cars other than their own. Good day overall.

Okay, here's the sheet from todays run. Just under 200 ft/lbs TQ and 241.8 HP.
