Post 2002 TL light bulb specs
Please post all the exterior and interior bulb numbers for the 2002 TL/TL-S. Shoof: maybe we should use this message to update the FAQ pages.

Hey now, what gives... That list shows the rear turns as being 1156, and Shyne says he has 1157A in his. Which is the right one?
I think the dome is a T6, or something like that Qty = 1 ... 12mm? The one I repaced it with is 12V/10W... Japanese SOEI thing, all I can read is 10X36.
The vanity mirrors are "fuse type" (that is the lingo the sales people at the dealership use). If anyone knows of a good replacement bulb that is kinda like an HID, or PIAA Xtreme, please let me know.

I think 99-01 TL's take different type of bulbs than the 2002's. My 99' used to take the "plug in" bulbs rather than the "twist in" bulbs. I recently changed my wiring harnest to the 2002 bulbs so they can accept the "twist in" bulbs coz they are much better.

I'm pretty sure it's 912 instead of 921.

I just ordered the reverse lights on this site and its labeled 168/921. As for the rear turn signal, I was under the impression that it uses the same bulb as the high mount brake light as that is also labled on this site. Hmmm....potential dangearous buying scenario we have here with people orderign the wrong bulbs just because of labeling errors.
I ended up ordering (today)...
For the front turn signals...
Polarg M12 (pair) - Replaces: type 1157
Hyper-White Push & Twist 35/5w=70/10w
For the reverse lights (because of heavy tint)
Polarg M6 (pair) - Replaces: type 168/921
Hyper-White Small Push-In 18w=36w
For the high-mount center brake light (also because of heavy tint)
Polarg M2 (pair) - Replaces type 7440
Hyper-White Large Push-In 21w=42w
Please correct me if I ordered the wrong bulb types so I could email Tim before they are sent out.

Thats the link to the accessories portion just as if you clicked on the tab up top. if you look at the reverse lights, its listed as 921. maybe someone should shout out an email to Tim just in case his labeling is wrong.

So, I am waiting to hear back from topbulb.com, they are supposed to be the place to find unusual\hard to find bulbs.
I am hoping they can give me some name\type for the bulb and then try and find a superwhite type replacement. I will keep you guys updated.
