First off piracy is a

Howver, the Acura DVD is a dual layer DVD. The only way that you COULD copy it would be with a dual layer DVD burner.

Unfortunatly their aren't many out / or coming out soon and their cost is high. A regular DVD burner would not be able to copy that disk. Talk to someone at Acura service, maybe they can cut you a break on the multiple purchase.

Only the latest version v2.11 is dual layer, the previous versions of the NAVI disc are single layer. Many users have reported problems using burned discs however.

Its been tried over in the MDX forums without any success. Those that have tried it there say it really can't be done.
