Question Poll: Age of TL/TL-S drivers?

Hey guys,
I was wondering what the average age of TL/TL-S driver was.

Also, I was at my local Acura dealer today looking at the TL-S and I over heard sales person talk on the phone that some of his customers were canceling their orders because of economy and stock market. I think they might be more willing to negotiate very shortly.

Funny thing. I heard the same story about buyers backing off with the recent stock market woes.
I also read that auto sales were down @10% across the board.
The economy is indeed slowing a bit but it's all relative.
I'm 35 and still shopping.

I am going to get a Type S in a few months when my lease is up on my 99 TL. I am also going to get a Z06 Corvette when my two daughters are out of college.

Looking 49 square in the face in May. I'm pleasantly surprised that dealers are dealing so early. I would agree that uncertainty about the market and the economy may be working in our favor.

I am 38 years old and will be getting a TL-s soon. One thing, I could only afford a 1998 Accord EXV6 last time out and I make good money. How the hell are you young guys affording the TL-s. Don't you have mortgages, or are your parents stinkin rich. BTW, I am talking about you in your 20's.

Updated Summary

19-25 (10)
26-30 (3)
31-35 (4)
36-40 (3)
41-45 (2)
46-50 (2)
+50 (2)

Now, I'd be interested in knowing the colour of the car asociated with the age group. Anybody over 35 order the Aegen blue? or did you go for the conservative silver?

Aegean Blue not available in Canada. Would have ordered that but had to settle for conservative silver/ebony.

I ordered the dark emerald pearl, but to tell you the truth I'm not that thrilled with any othe colors offered on the TL-s. I understand why they don't offer that many colors, but they could at least offer more than 5.

I would have gone with the aegean blue if they offered it with the parchment interior. I just can't convince myself that I can live with the bowling ball look. Similar reason why I'm not going with the silver.

I'm 18, and not an owner yet but plan to be in the next month. How can I afford it? Because I've been working since I was 13 at two different Internet companies. Stock options are worthless, but when you live at home and make decent money, it's not hard to save up and buy the car of your dreams.

You have been working for Internet companies 5 years ago at age 13 and still end up with worthless stock option?

The reason we see so many younger drivers probably is b/c the majority of older tl drivers do not surf the web to find a cool website such as this to join. As for the "older" members on this site (myself included at 30), it's great we have enthusiasm at our old age for stuff kids in their 20's are doing.

Although I don't have a TL yet,
... one of these weeks.
