Timing belt should have been done by now with your age of the car, so i would recommend doing that. (weather or not it needs to be done before the trip, probably not) Motor mount should be changes as well, but not needed before the trip. main thing is fluids. Make sure they are all good, change oil if its about due and make sure tires are good and properly inflated

phee is the member with the 99 over limits that got 90% coverage from acura on a trans replacement. He was supposed to replace the motor mount THEN when the dealer told him to- that was months ago--and most recently has unheard of amouts of electrical problems.

I would replace the motor mount NOW, check the car over and drive it.
With his cars totally unknown history before oct of last year, I would guess no timing belt water pump service was done before the sale.

Phee- thats not $250- its a grand!

i said i was going to save up for the rest of the service ^^ and although i have not been reporting my progress, i have repaired the numerous electrical issues with my car, the only thing i am waiting on are my new dashboard led's and my issues will be over and done with.
