Please List Optima Redtop Part #

Alot of people talk about the optima redtop but they don't list the part number. Optima claims they don't make batteries that fit 2002 TLS. What's UP with that? I need a new one today thanks

jimmiceman,
Here is the info I received from optima on their red top battery for my 01 TL:

The Red 34 is the correct battery for your vehicle. You will also need the
G24 height adapter for hold down compatibility.

I got the yellow to 34 and it is a lot shorter than the stock battery. Mind you I just cut the tray since I didn't put the lid back on (gotta show off the nice battery and the terminal connectors from JL Audio you know.)

alright guys, the battery comes with the covering right? if you noticed on that covering it says use it on the bottom of the battery if needed. So, use it, it will raise your car to the standard size battery, and the OEM fastings work out just fine. The original cover might need a little modification, but mine sits fine without any mods to it.

what battery covering are you talking about? I got the 75/35 red top and it is shorter than the OEM. it fits in the black OEM housing but you need to modify the housing alittle. My battery didn'`t `come with spacers though so I'm not sure what spacers some guys are talking about.

Call optima and they will mail you the tray for your battery for free. Place the tray under the battery and everything will be alright. Mine sits fine without any mods also. I have a yellow top 34, ordered a red and sent me a yellow!
