Please Help Gentlemen

I'm sorry that I'm not up to speed and I couldn't narrow down my search. I have a few questions if you folks could please answer:

1) My model is a 2003 Acura TL-S with 39,800 miles. It was purchased on 05/29/02. As I understand, Acura's basic warranty is 4 years or 50,000 miles, which ever comes first. Does that warranty begin based on the model of the car (2003) or the purchase date of the car? Am I still under warranty?

2) My VIN number is 19UUA56833A019537. I hear something about if your VIN ends in a range of numbers, your transmission warranty is extended to 100,000 miles. Is this true? If so, do I apply?

Reason why I ask this is because I'm worried about the transmission. Also, my steering wheel vibrates like crazy when I am braking from speeds of over 50mph. I understand this to be a rotor problem. If I'm not covered, I'd probably take it to a local shop.

Thanks for listening.

To be sure contact:

American Honda Motor Co., Inc.
Acura Client Services
Mail Stop 500-2N-7E
1919 Torrance Blvd.
Torrance, CA 90501-9746
Telephone: (800) 382-2238

Tell them your VIN number and they will tell you all you need to know about tranny problems.
Your vibration for sure is warpped rotors and you more than likely need resurface and or new ones. Depending on your dealer they will do this.
You should still have warranty left in your car and it starts with the sale of the original owner, you just have what's left of it unless you have an extended warranty.

Good luck!

warranty start when car is first purchased. and the tranny warranty is 7 years or 100,000miles, but since u have a 2003 ur gunna have to check your dealer or sign up at acura.com on the owner link ( https://www.ahm-ownerlink.com/login.asp?brand=acura ). not all 03s are covered for the 7year 100,000mile warranty so chack it out.
