Please help.....

Everytime I shift into reverse from Park there is a loud sort of grinding noise.....do you think my tranny is about to go???? I only have about 2700 miles on my 02 tl-s

If it's a clanging sound or a loud thump...then it's normal. Does it happen especially when you are parked on a hill and don't set your e-brake before letting go of the brake?
