Seat Memory - Need Help Please

Hi guys,

I am another new owner of the RDX and just picked up my car on Sunday. I love the car very much so far but I do have a question regarding the memory setting for the seat.

I use the memory setting #1 and my wife uses the setting #2. I was driving to work this morning with the seat memory setting #1. However, when I went out for lunch at noon, once I opened the door and the seat will go back to memory #2. I noticed this has happened to me yesterday as well. I thought the seat memory should always stay in the setting according to the previous driver.

Please help.....

Check your key to make sure that you are using the right key. Driver position 1 should be linked to keyfob number 1. If you enter with key 2 it will change the settings to memory position 2.

It depends on the key you use to unlock the car. Look on the key below the Acura logo, it should say Driver 1 (or 2). I assume you used the key for Driver 2 to open the car, that's why the seat memory went to driver 2.

as others have said unless....your wife is playing head games with you and programmed both remotes to her seating positions....If that is the case, she is taking over the RDX and you will be sleeping on the couch tonight *lol*

Just teasing....but as others have said, its simply a matter that you took the wrong remote (I am 95% sure)

My wife has done this; she adjusts the seat and resets the memory position and she forgets which key fob position is hers. Then she would pick the wrong memory position or just sets them both to the same setting.

OR

She just grabs my keys and jacks up my settings.

It took a while to get her "trained"; she is position #1 in both cars and my key chain looks different than hers.

Thanks RDXM. You are correct and I am holding a driver #2 key....
