I'm thinking about buying a 2g acura tl/cl type-s, but I personally don't like the white for the gauges. Is there any complications just replacing them with stock black ones?

Another side note, is it possible to swap rear acura cl taillights with tl taillights?

 

If you wanted to replace automatic transmission CL-S / TL-S white gauge faces with automatic CL-P / TL-P black gauge faces, such as #6,7&8 seen below, through painstaking disassembly, perhaps not? The VSA & TCS gauge light locations may change?

Though you would have to purchase a 'used' CL-P / TL-P cluster to get #8 because it is discontinued for both Premium models.
Or purchase aftermarket CL-P / TL-P non-white type gauge faces, if they exist?




Take a very close look at both pictures below.
Do the shapes and contours of each models individual tail light unit look as if they will exactly fit within the shape and contours of the trunk lid & rear quarter taillight areas of each car??

 

I will trade you straight up for the white faces. Ive got a 2000 tl base- been wanting to do a white face swap for a while
