Pimp My TL! 2000 MODEL/ Brand of RIMS?
I received my Acura TL 2000 Model from a family member back about a year ago, I'm only 18 and I just recently got my license. I'm looking to buy some wheels, get a new paintjob, and tweak out little things in my Acura! I love the car. It's just about 13 years old and it still runs great!, it Only has 45,000 miles and had not been driven much for the past 3 years. So any tips would be good! I'm looking for any online sites where I can buy parts and such and maybe a checklist of what I should buy first, and my priorities!
The hood has a little oxidation as well as the back trunk. Their are minor dings around the car and scratches. It's in decent condition though! Looking to fix these up soon at a local shop
What brand of rims are affordable and good quality/looks/reputable?
THANKS SO MUCH TO THE ACURA COMMUNITY!

Welcome Dylanz287, congrats on the low mileage TL !
First things first, read up on the site's "DIY"s.....learn the common issues and potential trouble items of concern. Once you get all the basic general PM in order, than knock yourself out with all the available mods. Check the pics to get some ideas and go from there, depending upon your budget !

Yeah, try to find out as much as you can about the tranny. Check with your local Acura dealership on the recall status and any info that they may have.
In the meantime, check the tranny fluid's level and condition. Do a "3x3" drain & fill replacement using Honda's new improved "DW1" fluid. Clean fluid will help keep your tranny healthy and last longer !

Nice pick up!!! So yes the transmission... Now I have a 99 with the original tranny, still is in great shape. But I never have treated my TL has a "racecar" rarely ever sees anything past 3k RPMS. Wheels, check out SSR, or Niche, those are my favs but tons of options out there.
