PICTURES!!! CT meet w/Snook

OK, well a few pictures. I'll post more later.
This was a great meet, it did not rain, but the threat
of rain scared off a few members. The NY/NJ
contingent showed up which was nice. Everyone
got to meet Tim, who is one helluva nice guy. He is
a true TL supporter and deserves our FULL support.
(You know what I mean!)

Anyway, here is the lineup:

I honestly can't tell which one is which:

This was a wheel that was on a TL owned by "Pete".
I did not get his forum name, and he left early so
he did not make the line up picture.

I will post more "meet" picutres later, but after
the meet, a bunch of us went to Hooters, where
Tim treated us to Wings & Brew!! After we
stuffed ourselves, we had our waitress pose
with our cars (and a few moderators!!)

So, don't you wish you came along!!!!

2 Things...

1) Wish I lived farther north simply so I could make it to some of these cool meets you guys have
2) Oblio -- your car looks damn nice! I planned to get a black TL-S but my dealership didn't have one but did have a green one and I didn't want to wait. Wish I had gotten the black -- looks better and my green one is turning out to be a lemon.

Redlined. Thanks for the nice comments.

I hope you know that everyone in this forum feels for you. To have your tranny stop like that is a NIGHTMARE!!!

I hope it gets resolved quickly and completely....

Hey Jon,
Your nephew got the name "bdimc2001" and "CTTL" mixed up with the wrong TL. The two names should be reversed.
BTW, very nice pics. Finally I had the pleasure of meeting Tim, the MAN, in person. He picked up the tab at Hooter's which was very nice of him. But I think he really wanted to pick up something/somebody else up. j/k
Overall the rain held off and the meet had a pretty good turnout even though the NYC/NJ crew outnumbered the CT/Maine/Mass crew in their own territory.

Well, I have to admit, it would be easy to blame my nephew, but it turned out to be my mistake. When I "moved" the names onto the picture, I got them out of order. MY FAULT .

Anyway, thanks for pointing that out. I should have looked closely, and I would have realized it on my own. I was in a rush to get to press! So, the picture is fixed, just refresh on your browser to get the updated one.

Thanks for coming up! I know it's a drive. Glad you got back safe!

You forgot to mention that I was giving swaybar demonstrations and benefits with high speed turns for a couple of the guys... I think they were pretty convinced to get them...

Oops...sorry for blaming your nephew. It's because he was the one taking down the names at the meet.

Wow, My car really didn't lean very much... It feels so much different when you're driving the car and driving in the car...not to mention seeing from outside... Hehe, just noticed the Speed limit sign of 15mph...I wasn't exactly going 15...FYI, some of the hard turns I did was at speeds between 30 and 45mph and the car still was able to take more. I would be in jail right about now if I got caught....

It was a pleasure meeting you all yesterday. I'm sorry I missed Hooters! I don't think having birthday dinner with my family would have held a candle to what I missed & may have even accomplished at Hooters by playing the birthday card!

Hey Ed, I won't turn you in for a price, after all I now have photographic proof. j/k We'd all have been arrested had we gotten caught going home on the 91 & 95. I must say, as bad as it is, I'm glad that couple wiped out on I95 (how they managed to wipe out like they did I still can't figure out ) or that would have been one pissed off Trooper.

Oblio98, I'm the closer of the 2 Type S's...note the tinted windshield. The pictures turned out great!

Hooters was mentioned all along. It was Snook's idea.
Check the original post in the meets forum!

SlyTLS: Thanks for the clarification. I really could not tell!

Shoofin'TL: I thought you'd like that picture by the Speed Limit sign

Re: Nice pictures

Had a great time at the meet, it was nice seeing some of the "veteran" members here and a pleasure meeting the new ones.

I wanna thank TIM especially for everything he's done, the site, food and all.

That was me taking the picture, the one in the black on the left. of the 2 and 3rd picture above, and that's Binh(Blackshadow) standing next to his car.
