Pics of Installed Intake

hey guys, I just ordered a AEM Cold Air Intake off ebay. I was wondering if anyone had pics of their installed intake so I know what mine would look like installed. By the way, I have a 03 TL-S.

hey, thanks for the pics. The intake looks great, can't wait to get mine installed. Did it take you long to install it, and did you have noticeable gains?

Just requires taking out the stock air box!! If u dont have small hands good luck

Pretty good gains for 200 bucks... Cheapest bang for the buck It takes about an hour to install.

How loud is it? How much gain do you ACTUALLY get?

Thanks

The noise you mainly here when idling is the hiss of the CAI sucking up air. You don't hear anything really until vtec engages...when it does then it sounds nice...basically like a growl.

As far as gains AEM reports a 12hp increase.....but i never believe those numbers.

I really really want to get one of these. How easy is it to install ones of these? Does it come with instructions? AEM V2 is the best for my 1999 TL?

nope... the vtec switch is dependent on the vehicle speed sensor... meaning you'd have to be moving in order for it to engage...
