OH YES!!! I've got my goody list. CTSC, Mugen cooling system, CT exhaust, CT headers, CT CT Tranny Cooler, Koni Yellows, Apexi AFC and I'm trying to decide on Brembo or Rotora. Any normal person of course would go with Brembo but they are not cheap. And I'm not necessarily trying to do right way with no regrets. I purchased the Rotora slotted rotors but sent them back because at the time I wasn't going to do the SC. Now that I am, I'm lurking around the forum to see how both are holding up on members who have installed both. Purchase date for everything at one time is the first of May if everything goes right. I'm so excited! In the meantime, reading up on all that I can.

You have to be really careful with wheel fitment. It has as much to do with the caliper clearance of the wheel spokes as it does with the size of the disc. I don't believe a wheel spacer with the stock Type S wheel will provide enough clearance for the 12.4" kit. What would help you out the most is for those who have done it to post the wheels they used. For the 13" Brembo, you definately need an 18" wheel. A 17" wheel should b able to hanldle the 12.4" kit. You need a minimum of 34.5mm clearance of the caliper in either situation.
I used a 18x8 O.Z. Superleggera (+45) with the 13" kit. I knew it would work because I saw the exact same set up on a CL on the Comptech website. Here are my pics:

If you venture out of what's been tried, then be prepared for some trial and error. Spacers will get you out of a jam but in effect, you are pushing the wheel out which could cause rubbing issues. That said, it is such a COOL set up. As Ferris Bueller says, "if you have the means I highly recommend picking one up."

Thanks Paul. Very nice Type S on 19z! There's another option. I would not go with a wheel with less than a +51 ET if your are adding spacers. Anything lower will result in rubbing issues. Now if it is minor, a little plastic trimming in the rear will fix it.
One other thing to consider. If you get a flat on a front tire, you will have to move a rear wheel to the front and put the spare on the rear. No way our undersized spare will work.
BTW, that last shot looks like it was taken on Berkeley St. near Fullerton Community College.
