Hi guys:
Here is the pic of my TL-S with Door Trims... http://albums.photopoint.com/j/Album...&a=13188257&f=
Click on the pic to see the large pic so that it won't be fuzzy.... I think making the pic small makes it fuzzy..anyway..
Let me know what you guys think of the door trims. ;-)

Is that the Inspire trim pieces? I can't see the word Inspire on the front one.

Nope...not the inspire one....and you are correct...I found something els...
I had a choice to put in the chrome ones or the silver ones...but I put in this silver one instead....i think chrome might be too shiny and reflective (for me).
I am not sure what material is used by Inspire door trim, but these pieces are 100% aluminum. The chrome ones are 100% stainless steel.

Those are pretty cool.
Share the info!
All we would need to do is put a www.acura-tl.com sticker on them..
Or if you have the Acura Font, you could try to get one made that just has the Acura logo and ACURA TL or something cool like that..
patc,
btw, Socal, soon to be Nocal - where in Nocal?

Sorry guys..I was napping .. ZZZZZ.
Ok.. Remeber last time I was complaining the Inspire was pricy because and said going to put aluminum foil on them.. haha... basically I did. These are not aluminum foils..
Sometimes you see those door trims when you go to restaurant, they got, silver, gold, black...etc...well, that's where I got them... They are pre-cut 1" wide and length depends on the front and rear. Since my dad is in those doors/windows business, I asked him to grab some pre-cut ones. heehehe...double taped it..and stick them up..
I am pretty satisfied with the turn out. Of course, there is gold, chrome, black..etc..
As far as I know...I am not paying $160 for door trim..and I got a nice one already.
;-)
ps. I livein S. Calfi now...moving to San Jose in a month or so.

Nice job Pat, where can the average Joe with no connectiosn pick those strips up?? Home Depot or the local hardware store??
The silver really compliments your ride since its silver. I think a shiny black would look nice on mine. Once again, nice job

where can you get them? hmm..I really don't know. Let me ask and I will get back to you.
But you want to have it 1" width pre-cut...it won't come out nice if you cut it yourself. It's ok to cut off at the different length you want, that's what I did.
Just a warning for black / gold color ones...they tend to dis-color after a while cause it's a paint over it. If possible, use silver which is 100% aluminum, or chrome 100% stainless steel.
