Anyone change their high beam bulbs to the PIAA 9005. The piaa site shows that bulb will work in 99-01 TL's. Is it something we need to do and will it be too bright with our HIDS? Are there any other choices for the high beam to consider?

I have the PIAA 9005 high beam bulbs. They are superwhite, so they match the HID better than the factory high beams that are very yellow compared to the HID. I am not sure what other brands are out there, but the PIAA's are pretty good.

 

i got them a while ago. big waste of money...returned them after a week

 

yeah, waste of money for the $80 i was about to shell out.

 

Why did you guys feel it was a waste of money? Did you end up going back to the factory high beams?
