PIAA 1700X FOGS
Just got 1700x fogs installed. They look nice and the color is similar to the HID. I have the piaa switch right now running through the parking lights. I ordered the '02 switch and am wondering if it is the same as the inspire/accord switch and if it will work. Will the color be right? I should have looked at the 02 but figured it would work so I just ordered it. Cost $35 form Island Acura on L.I. Anyone else with the 1700x or info on the switch pleses help.

Yes, I did mean the 02 TL switch. That is what I ordered. Does that come in black and charcoal or just charcoal? The parts guy did not ask about a color he just placed the order. He may have known that I have a parchment interior, I am not sure.

Yeah! Just like the Inspire Tail lights are now the '02 tails.
I saw the '02 switch and it's in the opposite position of where mine is in the '99 - but exact dash match.

You can put them anywhere you want, just pop out the buttons and rearrange the switches to whatever suits you.

Nice pics. I installed mine at the top of the opening instead. They are the same fogs though, right. The 1700x's. Did it today so I have not had a chance to really check them out. I will probably just keep the switch on the right. Thanks for the info and pics.

This is a little O/T but be careful with the PIAA 1700x fogs. I went through two sets of them because they kept burning out. I also found out that a few other owners have the 1700x burned out on them too. I guessed because they are really hot since they closely resemble our HIDs. So I decided to switch to their new series, the Solitaire. I got them in Plasma Blue and they are 1/2 the price of the 1700x but not as bright.
