Are the piaa 1700x good fog lights, i seen them for pretty cheap and im thinking about pickin them up. Also what type of color are they? Thanks.

They're pretty close to our HIDs. But I went through 2 sets of them because they burned out on me in only a few months for both. I don't know if I got the bad ones but just keep in mind because they do burn really hot.

BTW, I switched to the new PIAA Solitaire blue series. They are not as bright but they have outlasted the 1700 already.
