Just wondering if any of you guys have pets (mainly dogs). If you do, do you ever take them in your TL-S's? How do they ride in your cars so they don't scratch anything?

I don't think it is OT. The TL-S has perforated seats so it is a bigger concern than regualr TL seats. I think it belongs in Type S but if it must be moved it is not a big deal to me

my friend has a dog and i used to baby sit it from time to time. i let it into my car, and for some odd reasons he kept on tasting my leather with the tongue @_@
but as a rule, it's not a good idea at all. their crawls can severely damage the leather...... i have seen people putting in a later of cloth first before letting the dog in.

but yea, i always put like a towel for my dog on the seat. that way he doesn't scratch or lick the leather, and it's also a safety if your dog has to go all of a sudden.
my parents suffered when our dog peed all over the new lexus...

Just cover your seats with a blanket. It's what I've always done with my dog and I've never had a problem.

He wanted to bring his dog in the car and didn't want to ruin the seats so I just told him to cover his seats.
We've got 2 dogs (SharPei) - they slobber, drip, and gobber all over everything, and so neither has ever been in the TLS or the Maxima - the QX-4 is their ride.
Can't imagine dog claws in the perforations of the TLS leather - ouch!

I have a dalmatian and she gets to ride around in the back of the Land Rover whenever she goes to the vet. My god, I've never seen another dog shed that much. And she gets so nervous on the way over, so she's slobbering and climbing up on the seats and stuff. I've never been able to get all the hair out of it. So unless your dog does not shed at all, or the hair matches the color of your interior, I'd avoid it at all costs
