People experienced Cylinder misfire problem...

What did the dealer did to solve the problem? I had my car brought in 3 times with cylinder misfire code and the dealer just cleared the code. This is my 3rd time bring my car to the dealer this time. I think there's something wrong. What needs to be checked? Thanks.

If you can go to another dealer... If not try to find a good regular mechanic to check the problem...

Oh and ask for a detailed decription of what the original dealer did to troubleshoot the problem

There is a number of possiblities. I will tell you what happened to mine though. My misfire codes that were popping up was due to a flooded vapor recovery system connected to the gas tank. Your gasoline vapor recovery system has sensors that may be damaged if you top off. Gas can be pumped into this system. So if you top off frequently it is possible that maybe the problem. It told my dealer 3 weeks to get the parts. They were out of stock. Good luck tracking it down.

i would just tell the dealer that this is the 3rd time its being brought in for this problem and you just simply dont want the code to be reset. you want to know why and whats causing it

I have NGK iridium spark plugs and I had the problem before I changed those. And I don't feel any problem when I am driving. I have idling problem though.

I only use Mobil supreme or Chevron supreme 91 octane, no crappy gas.

I usually wait until I run out of gas, but not until the light turns on. I don't top it up frequently. You think they might blame on my CAI?

They can try but that ain't it and they may have to prove it was the cause for the problem to deny warranty if it drags to letigation. Still a number of things that can cause your car to misfire. Does the car die while you are driving it? If it does get it towed to your dealer and tell them you have no confidence in your car and had it towed via Acura TLC service. They need to find the problem if the car dies on the road. I demanded they find my problem cuz I couldn't keep my car running for more the 2 mins. Took them a day of searching the fuel system for a cause. First guess was bad gas. Then they found the real problem.

They told me my valves are too tight.

BTW, I also asked them to check my passenger side seatbelt buckle because it squeaks everytime when there's passenger occupied. They just called me and said that it's not from seatbelt buckle. They told me it's from center console lid and it's normal. I told him that it squeaks only when the passenger wears seatbelt. He told me the technisian duplicate the problem and they're sure that it's from the lid and there's nothing they can do. ????????

Everyone blames all my cars problems on my CAI... but it is NOT the CAI!!! Cripes. I think I may be having a misfire too... when I start my car sometimes, I get a "thud thud thud thud" in rapid succesion at low RPMS. Is this what your experiencing Paul????

Yeah, kind of. If your cylinder misfires, you'll get Engine Check light, too.

He didn't blame on my CAI, but he tries BS me with seatbelt buckle.
