haha YES, its a great feature for parallel parking and reversing in to a space. my friends are like wtf?? the 04 tilts both mirrors you just have to select which one

that's a cool feature. my parents have a 2003 type s that does that too.

my friends 2004 bmw 330 has that feature too! us tsxers get jipped

I thought maybe I bumped a switch that made it start doing that, it was odd that I have gone this long and never have noticed it.

i dont think so. i think that came about in the 02 model. the way to find out is to move the mirror switch to the center position and put it into reverse. the mirror should tilt down.

That is correct. It only started on the TL from 02 and up. Yeah you can say we got jipped. Oh well! I have an 01.

Yeah only 02 and up has it. But the CL had it first then it carried on to the 02 and up TL.

reminds me of when my friend bought an 04 chevy avalanche this summer

look, i bought an avalanche

ok

check it out

if you insist

look the seats are heated

my tl has that

you can control the radio on the steering wheel

my tl has that

the mirrors tilt down when i go in reverse

my tl has that

it can tell you the outside temp

mt tl has that

it has an indash 6 cd changer

my tl......you know what? that's HOT!!

I see it now. I had my control to the middle position, thats probably why I have never noticed it happening before. Kind of scared me, thinking I usually use that mirror when I am backing up.

Lol same thing here had a friend who just got a 04 Red Z71 Avalanche, and it just shows you that the Japs are WAYYYYYY ahead of Americans.

I'll agree that it's often more fun to figure things out for yourself, but there may be functions your car can perform that you might never figure out. This especially true for some of the newer cars with all the fun gadgets.
