They pop right out.

If you open your center console and you will see 2 screws. Untighten them. Then just wiggle the center console and they will detach, when they detach pull them toward the back and up and they come right out...

you mean the black wood pieces? if those are what you are talking avout they arent screwed in, they just lift up. open the center console and pry up once you get it started you will have to pull slightly towards the rear of the car.getting it started is kinda hard but you can use your fingers for the job

VTECHUMP, whatever you do let a bodyshop paint them for you. I don't care for that paint people buy at Pepboys and paint their pieces with. I did all the pieces in my Civic and while everyone was buying the $5 cans at the auto store I decided to have a bodyshop do them. It's nothing like the quality of body paint. and two nice layers of clear coat making it look wet. I noticed everyone else' was to easy to scratch up. Mine were very hard to scratch up. There are pics posted here if you want to see. Type S Lady Civic pics I think. Cost me about $30 for a half a pint of paint and a little clear. Well worth the extra money!

this topic used to be real popular not to long ago . . . i did it to mines awhile back now . . . since i work in a body shop i used professional ppg paint which make the turn out the same exact as the exterior . . . my car is SSM so i match the color.

procedure: first of all you want to scuff the surface with some stoch brite and clean that off make sure no dust is left . . . u can do it professionally by taking it to someone or use spray can . . . it simple

I wrapped my pieces with silver vinyl. Looks great and doesn't scratch easily. Fraction of a cost of bodyshop

I heard that there are adhesive vinyl "tape" in many colors including carbon fiber available. Pacific Mall in Markham perhaps? I saw a friends 98 CL done up in blue inside. Looks sharp.
